Unarchive a Workflow

Edited

Unarchiving brings a Workflow back to an active state so your team can continue work. This restores tasks, resumes client follow‑ups, and lets you pick up where you left off—useful if a Workflow was archived by mistake or the case has reopened.

Who this is for: Firm staff managing client Workflows in Glade.

Before you start

  • Be sure you’re ready for follow‑ups to resume to the client once the Workflow is unarchived.

  • If there was a payment plan previously, you’ll need to recreate it after unarchiving.

Steps to unarchive a Workflow

  1. Open the archived Workflow you want to restore. You can find it by searching for the name

  2. Go to the top‑right and click on the three dots menu.

  3. Select Unarchive Workflow.

  4. Review the notice:

    • All tasks will be restored.

    • Clients will start receiving follow‑ups related to this Workflow.

    • Any previous payment plan must be recreated.

  5. Click Continue to confirm. Wait a few seconds while Glade restores the Workflow.

Result: The Workflow is active again. Tasks are restored and client follow‑ups resume. Remember to recreate any needed payment plan.

Tips

  • If you unarchived by accident, you can archive again from the same menu (top right corner)

  • After unarchiving, check the To‑dos/Tasks list and confirm only the items you want are active.

Troubleshooting

  • Don’t see “Unarchive Workflow”? Make sure you’re viewing an archived Workflow and that you have permission to modify it. Try refreshing the page.

  • Nothing seems to happen after Continue: Give it a few seconds and refresh. If the status still shows Archived, try again or contact support.

  • Payment plan missing: Unarchiving does not restore prior payment plans—create a new plan as needed.
