How to update Contact details
Keeping contact details accurate ensures messages go to the right person, e‑signatures match legal names, and invoices/notifications arrive without delays. Here are two ways to update a client or collaborator’s info in Glade.
Who this is for: Legal teams managing contact records in Glade.
Option A: Edit from the Contacts directory
Open Contacts in the left navigation.
Find and click the Contact you want to update.
In the top‑right, click the three dots (⋯) and choose Edit Member.
Update the Name, Phone number, and/or Email as needed.
Click Save.
Result: The contact record is updated across Workflows where that contact appears.
Tips
Make sure the legal name matches the name used for retainers and e‑signatures.
Double‑check the email address before saving—typos can block notifications and invoices.
Troubleshooting
Email already in use: The address may belong to another contact. Consider updating the existing contact or using a different email.
Changes not showing in a Workflow: Reopen the Workflow or refresh the page to pull the latest profile data.
