Glade Bankruptcy Workflow Checklist

Our immediate goal is getting you to eFiling with Glade as soon as possible. 

Each module in your workflow is outlined below, and each plays a role in helping you prepare your Bankruptcy Petition quickly and accurately.

The order in which you complete your tasks matters. Data collected in earlier steps is used to pre-populate the petition - the cleaner that data is, the closer to complete your petition will be.

Case Initiation

  • Select workflow - this is the case type or service you are providing the client

  • Select customer - select an existing or create new

  • Assign owners - assign members of your team to this case

  • Set up an invoice - use a template or make edits. Take an initial down payment or set up a payment plan.

  • Review & initiate - review final details and create the case

Your client will be invited via email and SMS to join your case. Any task assigned to your client from this moment forward will be included in consistent Ai follow up emails at the client’s specified clients.

Step 1: Invoices & Retainers

  • Invoice - review for accuracy. Will be paid over time by client

  • Retainer - review for accuracy. Will be signed by client and automatically counter-signed by law firm

Step 2: Document Checklist

  • As documents are uploaded, review AI validation & uploaded documents for legibility & accuracy

  • Reject & request a re-upload (if needed)

  • Client is required to submit the entire document request for your review once complete. Approve to continue

Step 3: Income Organizer (Paralegal review recommended)

*NOTE: Paralegal review is highly recommended before completing this step.

You will be required to explicitly approve this step before moving on. 

Data collected and submitted here will flow into upcoming steps.

  • Upload client paystubs → AI extracts wage data

  • Enter all additional income sources (benefits, dividends, etc)

  • Review monthly income in the pay table for completeness and accuracy

  • Verify Schedule I calculations

  • Run & confirm Means Test outputs

Step 4: Credit Report

Pull credit reports instantly and auto-populate bankruptcy schedules

  • Pull client’s credit report (one-click inside Glade)

  • Confirm creditor list is complete

Step 5: Client Questionnaire (Paralegal review recommended)

*NOTE: Paralegal review is highly recommended before completing this step.

You will be required to explicitly approve this step before moving on. 

Data collected and submitted here will flow into upcoming steps.

  • Review assets & liabilities for completeness

  • Review creditors and ensure collateral and codebtors are linked to debts

  • Confirm accuracy of expenses & income

  • Validate marital / household information

    • If there a is a non-filing spouse, collect income for second debtor

  • Verify SOFA responses (payments, transfers, credit counseling, etc)

Step 6: Schedules Builder (Attorney review recommended)

*NOTE: Attorney review is highly recommended at this step. This petition will ultimately be filed with PACER.

  • Review autopopulated data for completeness and accuracy

  • Complete all fields that are required but not auto-populated

  • Exemptions - Select whether you prefer Federal or State exemptions, run the Exemptions agent, and then review for completeness and accuracy 

  • Confirm all forms are complete & formatted to court standards

Step 7: eFiling Agent

  • Select schedules & documents for submission

  • Add supplementary files /exhibits (if needed)

  • Submit petition via one-click PACER/ECF filing

  • Confirm filing receipt is received & saved
